Lucky Puppy is a philanthropic Spay and Neuter Incentive Program, dedicated to the residents and dogs of Waskaganish, Quebec.
HOW IT WORKS: If you are a resident of Waskaganish and have a dog spayed or neutered, you can send the original proof of sterilization signed by the veterinarian to Lucky Puppy. Within 6-8 weeks, you will receive a cheque for $25.00 in the mail. There is no limit to how many dogs you can claim, as long as the original proof is sent in. Claims will be processed on a first come, first served basis d...ependent on the amount of donations received by the public. Claims must be submitted within 60 days of sterilization.

3) Lucky Puppy believes that the incidence of dog bites will decrease as a result of increasing sterilization.
4) Lucky Puppy will never make a profit. It will be entirely run by volunteered time and labour, and the donations of concerned people.
5) Lucky Puppy will endeavor to become a registered charity and offer tax receipts for donations by companies, businesses, and individuals.
6) Based on donations, Lucky Puppy will expand to include all Cree communities in order to improve quality of life for animals and people.
7) Lucky Puppy exists solely as a service to citizens and will never promote or endorse any political or commercial entity.
